Brandon's T-Ball Game

Wednesday, April 25, 2007

Well, it is only Wed. The week has gone so slow for us. Brandon has been sick with the stomach flu since Sunday. He was still vomitting on Tuesday. Today he is feeling a little better, as you can see in the picture of him raiding the pantry. He still says his tummy hurts a little, but I think he is on the mend. Ryan is the only one that has not been sick. I am praying that he doesn't get it. Paul has been nice enough to help with getting Ryan to school, so I did't have to drag B out that early in the morning.

Carson is doing great. He got to go outside in his stroller yesterday. As you can tell, he loved it. He just looks around and takes it all in. He aslo got to meet Chip, our dog, for the first time the other day. Carson thought he was funny. He smiled and cooed at him.

Ryan only has 5 weeks left of school. I can't wait and neither can Ry. I am tired of running all over the place everyday and he is tired of homework. We found a new school closer to home for them next year. They have all day kindergarten and a van that will pick them up at home. Yeehaw. I won't have to drive them everyday. Ryan and Paul are going to be taking a trip to Wilmington in May, for school. Ryan is very excited. He can't wait to go crabbing and to do all of the other fun things scheduled. They will be there for three days. The other 2 boys and I are going to tag along, but we will just hang out on the beach or at the hotel.

Paul is going to make one last trip to Ny, we think. Then who knows where they will send him. He doesn't mind the traveling. I think he likes seeing all the different places. The boys and I miss him alot when he is gone. I htink maybe the boys enjoy him alot more after he has been gone for a while.

We all enjoyed having Paul's mom with us for the weekend. She got to go to Ryan's grandparents day at school and see both of the boys play baseball. Thanks for coming Connie.

The weather has been beautiful here. It is about 85 today. It is quite windy, though. To windy to take Carson out. We are going to try to get some work done in our flower gardens this weekend. It is supposed to stay nice for a while, I think. I promised my niece, Breanna, that I would plant her some pink flowers. Hopefully she will be able to come and see them sometime this summer after I get that done..

I hope you enjoy the slide show and my rambling for the day. Check back later for more pictures of my handsome boys.

Love and miss ya all,
Candy

Home Run Derby 2007

Hey everyone! Thought you might enjoy these pictures. Ryan and Brandon got to participate in a Home Run Derby! They both did so awesome. We are so proud of them. Brandon hit for the T-Ball team. He hit 3 home runs! Way to go Brandon!!! He is tied for first place with one other boy. They will get to have a face off at a later date. If he wins he will get to be recognized at an awards ceremony and will win a prize. I'm not sure what the prize is. Ryan did awesome, too. He hit 5 homeruns out of ten pitches. It came down to the very end, but he got beat by one homerun. Good try Ryan! We are so proud of you!! Carson is such a little trooper. He gets dragged to the ball park at least 4 times a week. He does so good. He hangs out in his stroller or I hold him in my carrier. He is always so happy! I am sure he will be out there on the ball field with the other boys as soon as he is walking! Paul is also such an awesome Dad! He spends alot of time working, but when he is home his boys are his priority! He spends so much time getting them outside and playing. They play basketball, baseball, and football. The minute he walks through the door the boys are raring to go! I know he has to be exhausted sometimes, but he doesn't let that stop him. We both know what a blessing it is that God chose us to raise these three beautiful boys. They are the highlights of our lives. We are enjoying them every minute of every day. We know that before we know it they will be going off to college or getting married. We intend to make memories with them every day that will stay with us and them forever!!!

Ryan's Big Game

Ryan had a very exciting evening. Ryan is the starting pitcher for the Kernersville Little League baseball team. He faced the minimum of 6 batters tonight,in a very impressive win. He also had a very good evening with the bat, going 2 for 3. Ryan is beginning to realize that practice makes perfect. He is growing up right underneath our eyes. Keep your kids in sports or other extra curricular activites. Support them in whatever they decide to do and push them to be the best Christians on and off the field. Get off the couch, and witness with your actions. Paul

Happy Birthday Paul

Today my dear husband turned 34. He is the best husband a woman could ever ask for. He has sacraficed a lot of things in his life to provide for me and our children. I wake up every morning and thank God for giving him to me. I find it a great privelege that he chose me to be his wife. I love you Paul. Hope you had a great birthday!!!!!

Grandpa and Grandma Williams Visit NC

Grandma and Grandpa Williams came to visit last October. We got to go to Grandfather Mountain and see the leaves changing. We walked across the mile high bridge. It was the windiest day we have ever seen. The wind was gusting up to 70 mph. Ryan's legs were shaking as we walked across the swinging bridge. Honestly, so were mine. That bridge really was swinging.

Visitors

While the guys were off in Colorado, Connie, Buffy and her children came to visit us in NC.

The Big Hunt

Paul, Wayne and Steve went to Colorado in September of 2006. Paul was able to kill this Elk with a Compound Bow. It was a 4 x 4. They had to carry it a mile to get it out of the mountains where they were hunting. It weighed in at about 800 pounds.

Easter

This is a pic of our boys and some of their cousins on Easter Morning at Church.
Breanna, Lauryn, Brooklynn, Brett, Nick, Brandon, Carson, and Ryan.

Our Home

Here is a picture of our new home in North Carolina. We have 2 acres. It gives the boys and our dog (Chip), plenty of room to run and play.

Carson Victor John Lavy

On February 9, 2007 we had our third miracle come into our lives. His name is Carson Victor John Lavy. He weighed 6-14 and was 21 in. Carson's middle name was given after his Great Grandpa Lavy. Carson will have some awesome footsteps to follow with that name.

Brandon Luke Lavy

Brandon is 5 years old. He is in Pre-K this year. He plays basketball and baseball. This picture was taken on a trip to Grandfather Mountain.

Ryan Paul Lavy

Ryan is 10 years old. He is in the 4th grade this year. He loves to play baseball and football. He also loves to fish. This picture was taken last summer at a pond where his Grandma and Grandpa Williams took him fishing.
